Özet

From past to present, job satisfaction has always been one of the most researched topicsin the field of human resource management and is increasingly becoming important inthe workplace daily. Good employees are the most crucial assets any company couldhave since their efforts and knowledge are the most essential aspects affecting thecompany’s productivity. Thus, employees’ attitudes and performance play veryimportant roles at the workplace because they are the major determinate of employees’behavior in an organization. Although there is an extensive body of research regardingjob satisfaction and job performance relationship, the research concerning the twovariables in multinational companies in least developed countries is rather few andoverlooked. Therefore, the aim of the current study is to investigate job satisfactionperformancerelationship in a multinational company in a least developed country.This is a quantitative method study conducted among 210 permanent employeesworking at one of the leading multinational telecommunication company Vodacombased in Lesotho. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS V 23) was used indata analyzing process.

The findings of the current study indicate that there is a correlation between jobsatisfaction and employees’ job performance in a multinational company.
